Sunday
Today has been a lazy day in our family. Russ and I are both down with colds and we are trying very hard not to get Sarah sick. Sarah and I went on some errands and then came home so she could play. She decided to be a pirate. She danced and sang songs for us and then made us put her friends in our shirts to keep warm. I took pictures of Sarah and Russ and their friends. It was nice to see Sarah as a pirate again after Halloween. She has been a trooper today.

Valentines Day
Today is valentines and we are having a great day as a family. We got up and took Sarah to swimming and then went to James Avery and bought Sarah a charm bracelet. Now we are home and having some down time. Sarah also got a new set of pajamas. This was a tradition in my family so I want to pass it on the Sarah. Aunt Marcy made Sarah a needlepoint pillow with a pickle on it because Sarah was obsessed with Pickles for awhile. This is a pillow that I hope Sarah will keep and take with her to college (if I let her grow up that much).
More Chinese New Year Pics
Chinese New Year
Well the Chinese New year has come and gone and I can't seem to be able to post anymore pictures. We had a wonderful time at the FCCH dinner. There were many many different dishes of food to try and lots of shopping opportunities. We bought Sarah a dragon puppet and she named it Moo Shu. (like the dragon in Mulan) We walks around the house with it all the time and it has a special place on her bed. We also got to see the dragon dancers and the little girl dancers. Everyone was so cute. Sarah actually gave money to the dragon this year.
We sat with the Norris' and one other couple. Sarah and Catherine had a great time sharing toys and dancing together.

Aruda 5
Tonight after having a Longaberger party here at the house and then friends staying for dinner, we looked at the fish tank and Aruda 5 was dead. (he's a beta) We waited until everyone had gone home to tell Sarah. She cried and asked why many times. After debating how we should bury Aruda 5, Sarah decided to flush him down the toilet. She asked where he was now. We told her God had taken him to heaven with him. She seemed OK with it. She wants to get another one tomorrow after school.
