Christmas at the Zoo 2008

I didn't get to go with Sarah and Russ this year but Monna and Allison went in my place. Here are some pictures of their fun.

Halloween 2008

Sarah was a pirate as she wanted to carry a hook and sword. She loved walking around thehouse with her hook and sword and would say "aaarrhhh" just like a pirate. At Bendwood, there was a carnival and she got cotton candy. In the evening, we went to Monna's Trunk or Treat at her chruch. People came and opened their trunks and gave out candy to the kids. I think some fo the adults liked decorating thier trunks more than actually giving out the candy. Sarah had a lot of fun not only going and getting candy but also giving it out.

Sarah's ballet Recital 2008

Sarah has been taking ballet, tap and gymnastics at The Little Gym. This was the recital she did in May of 2008. Monna gave her a nosegay of flowers and she was so excited. More pitures in the next group of pictures.

50's night

Monna's chruch was having a 50's celebration, to celebrate their 50th year. with a sock hop. Sarah loved all the dancing and expecially meeting Elvis. She even helped him sing one of his songs.

Chinese New year 2008

Families of Children from China Houston had a Chinese New Year celebration and we wnet. The Fourniers and the Norris's were also there. Sarah got on stage and danced for nearly 1 hour. She didn't like the dragon dance and her dad took her out into the hall until he convinced her that is was "just boys inside". Then she actually fed the dragon money.

Christmas 2007

We went to the zoo to have breakfast with Santa. Monna took the pictures. Not sure why she isn't in any of them.

Sarah decided that she wanted to be a weight lifter in July and never let it go. Here are pictures of her in the parade and after.

Sarah's 3rd bitrhday

We had Sarah's 4rd birthday at the HSC where she began swim lessons the next day. We invited many of her friends and her Aunt Marcy, Uncle Jim and Zadie came in for it. I made her cake all by myself with a little help from Russ.
