Silly pictures of Micah and Sarah

Micah and Sarah love to ham it up for the camera. Micah hasn't gotten the hang of it too much but Sarah sure has. The pictures of Sarah playing the guitar is when she began taking lessons. She and her dad play side by side now. Micah with her face on the steering wheel of her car is how she turns the music on. She hasn't learned to press the button with her hand so she uses her mouth and hand.

Here are more pictures of the River Walk

Here are more pictures that Carol took in San Antonio on the River walk. It was hot ans sweaty but we had a great time. Carol is an awesome photographer.

San Antonio on Sunday

On Sunday, we spent the day with Carol and Marvin Harlan and 6 of their kids. The kids range in age from 22-3. We met Carol and Marvin when we first switched from non special needs to Special needs adoption. Carol and Marvin were with us every step of the way. When I had doubts I would call Carol and she would talk me through it. They are lovely people and am so glad they are now my friends.
It was a delight to be with them. We talked in their hotel room for awhile and then walked the river walk to Joe's Crab shack for lunch! They are so much like Russ and I that it was scary at times. We think so much alike. By the time we were done with lunch, it was late and we had to go back to Oma's and then drive back to Houston.

Micah's Meet and Greet in San Antonio

My cousin Susan Mersky Wright gave Micah her meet and greet in San Antonio. Hazel "MOM or OMA" made a fabulous cake and Susie made all kinds of food to go with it. Most of Dad's relatives came as they had not met Micah yet. It was exciting to see Uncle Ralph and Aunt Gloria, Gloria and Odean Goss, Todd and Lisa Skinner, Uncle Ken and Aunt Rhonda and Uncle Harold and Aunt Karen there with Oma. Susie and her mom and dad were there as well as Zac and Andrea. Momma's friend Daniela was there also. We had met her in Houston before she moved to S.A. Micah was in a great mood and Sarah was fabulous. Susie had a million Lego's for Sarah to play in and we barely ever saw her.

OOPS

I made a mistake. The 2 videos are not of what I said they were. Just watch them and laugh as much as I did.
Here is a video of Sarah as a moustache girl! And doing the Beaver dance!

Have you ever????

I never thought it would happen. Dad stayed home with the girls as I went to book study with some ladies from FCCH. When I called to say I was on my way home Dad told me that Sarah had gotten hold of a marker and made a moustache on her face. When Dad saw this he took pictures and then asked why she had done it. She wanted to look like a pirate. He told her he could paint one with face paint and it would be safer. So they washed her face and Dad painted a moustache and goatee. She loved it. She made a few movies that I will try and post also.

Finally the 4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th with the Gees. We swam, had a wonderful dinner of Chicken, Shish-k-Bobs, salad, hash brown potatoes and Key lime Pie. After dinner, we lit sparklers and then Sarah spent the night with Hannah and Emma.
