Chinese New Year 2012

We had a terrific day today celebrating Chinese New Year with all of our friends. We went to China Bear on I45. They have a great buffet. The Fourniers, Gees, Avilas, Gyllings and many more were there to celebrate. The kids all sat together to eat, which left the adults to actually talk. There were games and activities for the kids to do and play as well as a face painter and a balloon maker. There was also a silent action and lion dancers. We didn't win anything at the auction but that is just fine with us. Gung Hay Fat Choy!!

January in San Antonio

Martin Luther King's birthday was the weekend that we went to San Antonio for Russ's family reunion. We had a great weekend. Oma has quite a bit of leaves on the ground and Sarah, Micah, Momma and Dada went to town raking the leaves and then jumping in them. The reunion was at the Bulverde bowling alley and community center. The Richters usually have the most family members but the Kruegers and the Goss' and the Skinners were also there. The Skinners brought their grandson Cole, whom Sarah loved playing with. A good time was had by all!
