More fun on Sarah's Birthday

I think these are the last of the pictures that I wanted to share. Zaidie, Janet, David, Pippa, Sydney, Elise, Homer, Allison, John, Catherine (mom Wendy was home sick) Kelly O'Quinn and us.
Allison and Kelly stayed late and we had a WII party. It was a wonderful end to a great day.

In these pictures Sidney, Elise and Sarah are trying to hit the pinata. It was a very strong pinata and the men had to help a little bit. We also played Pin the Parrot in the Pirate and the adults joined in.

Here are more pictures of our day.

More of Sarah's 5th birthday party

Yesterday evening we had friends and family over to celebrate Sarah's birthday. We had a pirate cake (done by the HEB), a treasure chest pinata and played Pin the Parrot on the Pirate. It was a lot of fun.

Father's Day

Sarah and I took Daddy and Zaidie bowling for the day. We went to the 300 AMF bowling alley and had a wonderful time. It is very different bowling in person than bowling on Wii. Daddy beat us each time but not by much!! It is the greatest to be with the best Dad and the best Zadie always!!!

Bei Hei Girls

We got together with Maggie and Samantha Lalich today at Sarah and Abby's party. We haven't seen Sammy for about 2 years. It was nice to see her and have the girls all play together.

Swimming, Swimming in the swimming pool. When days are hot and days are cool, nothing else will do!!! Happy Birthday to you Sarah!

Sarah's Swimming 5th birthday

Today was Sarah's 5th birthday party. She shared it with Abby and we had it at the community pool by Abby's house. We had about 40 people there, between kids and parents. We had Chik-Fila, fruit salad, cake and ice cream. It was lots of fun. Some of Sarah's friends from school came and so did her Zaidie.

Making Sarah's Cake

Sarah and I made her pool cake together. Allison Brothers and I baked the cake on Wednesday. Friday night, Sarah and I began to decorate it. I made blue jello for the middle and then added Swedish fish to make it look like they were swimming. Then I frosted the outside with cool whip and Sarah decorated with teddy grahams and life savers and umbrellas. I then wrote Happy Birthday Abby and Sarah.

Sunday

Yesterday, our friends the Norris' came over to play and have dinner. John is a great sport and Catherine gave him a crown to wear and John of course did. We had an awesome time and wish that we lived closer so that we could see them more.

Leaving on a Jet plane (or should it be arriving on ...)

On the plane Sunday, Sarah made a door hanger that she wanted to give to the pilot. When we were getting off the plane she went to give it to her (she was the co-pilot) and Andrea invited Sarah into the cock-pit. Sarah's dad was jealous because he has never been in a big airplane cock-pit before. She got to move the steering wheel backwards and forwards, and push buttons.
