Phoenix day 1

We arrived in Phoenix on Thursday for Jordan Wakser's Bas Mitzvah and went to Uncle Sid's house where we were going to stay for the weekend. Uncle Sid has a golf cart which Sarah just had to ride. She and Uncle Sid and Russ went to the store to buy something we forgot. They had a great time.
In the evening we met up with the group at Bucca De Beppo for dinner. Uncle Sid, Sandy, Zadie, Aunt Marcy, Uncle Jim, Barry, Marla, Mrs. Sheila, Mr. Eli, Matt, Amy, Josie and Jordan all were at dinner. Most of us were related but a good time was had by all.

Sarah had the best teachers in the whole world this year.
The sign was a fundraiser from school to put her birthday up on the billboard.

Sarah's Graduation

Sarah had a little graduation/celebration at Wild Cay Way. All the kids sang some songs and then were given a certificate for completing the year. Sarah got the creepy crawly award as she was the only one in the class to hold and play with the Earth worms. Mrs. Pat gave each of the parents a CD of pictures from the whole year. We love Mrs. Pat and Sarah ad the best year I could hope for.

Sarah's 1st school birthday

I went to Wild Cat Way on Thursday the 28th of May to celebrate Sarah's 5th birthday with her class. Since her birthday is in June, we had a celebration early so that all her school friends could be there. Sarah was given the choice of pops or hugs and she actually said pops. Mrs. Pat takes her shoe off, spits on it and pretends to hit Sarah on her bottom. She laughed the whole time.

Phoenix

Just a couple of pictures that were taken this past weekend. The rest I have to download and post later. One is of Sarah falling asleep on my shoulder while waiting for her dad to come get us in the car. And the second is a picture of Marcy, Dad, John and I after the Bas Mitzvah!

Dance Recital

Last Tuesday after Karate, Sarah had her dance recital. It was a lot of fun to watch. Sarah was the ham of the group. She couldn't/wouldn't stop hamming it up for the video tapping and the cameras. Manna, Mr. Ed (Laura was at the beach), and Allison were there to watch all the fun.

Karate Show

Today was Sarah's show in Karate. She began going to Karate in April and loves it. She has learned to do a high block, kick and belly up (what ever that means) Coach Jeff is her instructor and he loves having her in the class. Form the pictures you can see that she loves the class very much. So much that she wanted to stop dance but I wouldn't let her so for 2 months she has done both.
